Hilary Martin has worked in Family Law for over 20 years.  She started as a family law paralegal and has been a Law Firm Administrator for the past 17years. Hilary received her Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate and Law with a Minor in Business Economics from California State University, Long Beach. She also received her Paralegal and Human Resources Management Certificates from the University of California, Irvine.

 

Hilary is presently an active member of the Orange County, Association of Legal Administrators and is serving as the Vice-President on the executive board.  She has also served on the executive board as the Treasurer and the extended board on the Business Partner Relations Committee, Membership Committee, as the Co-Chair of the CaLM (California Legal Management Conference) Committee, Co-Chair of the ACES (Annual Chapter Education Summit) Committee, Communications Committee (Newsletter/Website/Social Media), General Meeting Speakers Committee, Legal Secretaries Course, and the Finance & Technology Section.

 

Hilary has served on the Audit Committee of the Orange County Paralegal Association.  She has also served as a Board of Director and was on the Executive Committee as Treasurer, President, and Vice President of Administration. Prior to that, she served as the Compendium editor (Newsletter), Scholarship chair, Educational Conference Co-Chair, the Compendium Coordinator, and the Family Law Section Chair.

 

Hilary received the 2014 National Affiliates Award from the National Association of Legal Assistants and the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Orange County Paralegal Association. 

 

Hilary is also an active member of the Imperial Elementary School PTA and is serving as the Parliamentarian and is a past President and Treasurer.  She is also the Co-Leader of her daughters Girl Scout Junior Troop and the Anaheim Hills Service Unit Membership Lead.  In the little free time she has left, she is spending it with her two children.
